Yolanda Renée

My bio will tell you that an adventurous spirit took Yolanda Renee (me) to Alaska where I hiked the Brooks Range, traveled from Prudhoe Bay to Valdez, and learned to sleep under the midnight sun. And I do claim that my vivid imagination is a blessing, a habit, a hobby, a calling and sometimes a curse. I do reside in Central Pennsylvania with my husband and two sons, but for fun and when I can I travel to Myrtle Beach, SC for a some alone time - I mean writing time - I love the sunrise over the ocean. Very inspiring - especially for murder mysteries.\n\nI've been writing, well, forever (since I was very young, 6th grade and before. Actually wrote and produced my first play in the 6th grade. But I'm new to this publishing thing. It's not my bag. Asking folks to read what I've written, is something every writer is driven to because we love to share and we love feedback! But making it count is much more difficult, there are millions and millions of new books per year.\n\nNow I'm trying to learn all about marketing - something else that requires skill. As much skill as writing. I'm learning, slowly, very, very slowly! It's difficult for an introvert. For someone who doesn't even enjoy phone conversations, or the huge wave of social media that's arisen - I'm a fish floundering on the sand. I've no idea what I'm doing, or why I have to do it.\n\nI hope you'll stick with me and give my books a chance.\n\nI've no doubt they're worth it! Pick one up and see...\n
